Home Learning

To help reinforce skills that are being taught in the classroom we ask all parents to spend some time each day talking about what students have done at school and practising some basic tasks.

Each student has a Home Learning book which they take home to practise their weekly spelling words and times tables. They also have a Take Home book which is to be read and signed by an adult each night. It is expected that these activities will take about 15 – 20 minutes each night.

Activities for our Prep students are a variation on these tasks and tailored to suit the needs and abilities of the students. Prep parents will be spoken to about what is expected of their child.
