Nungurner Primary School
Nungurner is a small school with a current enrolment of 16 children and 2 full time teachers. Framed by natural bush and farming land, the school has a large and spacious site which includes natural bush, vegetable gardens, a tennis court, a large oval and a recently installed play ground. It is the aim of the Nungurner school community to provide a happy stimulating environment in which children have the opportunity to achieve academic, physical, social and emotional growth and success. We encourage respect for individual abilities, interests and needs and foster independence, self-reliance and responsibility. We offer a sequential, fully integrated Prep to Grade 6 program focusing on all 8 areas of the curriculum. The school motto 'The Little School with a Big Heart' indicates its support for students and the community. Nungurner is extending its involvement in environmental issues, participating in the National Solar Program and the Sustainable Schools Victoria Program. Nungurner Primary School is also in the process of starting a playgroup for children aged 0-5 and will include engaging educational activities including: Singing & Dancing, Story Time, Craft Activities, and Gardening.
